Limited Lifetime Warranty Conditions
All products (except those noted below) are guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the product. This includes failures due to faulty electronic components, mis-wired circuits, and other such defects that are very likely to be evident as soon as the product is put to use. In addition to this, however, we guarantee that the solder joints on our PCBs are of a level of quality that no cold solder joints will develop over time, provided that the product is used in an environment with a non-condensing humidity level.
This warranty is non-transferrable, and is limited to the original purchaser of the product(s).
USPS Priority Mail shipping will be paid for by RS Autosport in the event of a warranty repair, and the customer will be reimbursed for USPS Priority Mail (or equivalent) shipping costs incurred in shipping the product to us.
Warranty does not include disposable or "wear" items such as fuses and relays.
Upon return of the defective product, RS Autosport will evaluate its condition and inform the customer of the failure mode and cause, and will offer to repair the product for a negotiable fee if the problem was caused by the customer (excessively low injector impedance, 12V applied to the 5V bus, etc.)
Use of Our Products
It assumed by RS Autosport that the customer is aware of any local laws that may forbid the use of our products on pollution-controlled vehicles. These products are for off-road vehicles only, unless your local laws allow their use.
MegaSquirt EFI is an experimental system, and is not to be used in mission-critical or life-and-death applications. Although there are thousands of vehicles using the system today, it has not been officially tested and qualified to any recognized standard.
