This MAP sensor is intended for serious turbocharged applications where manifold pressure will exceed the capability of the normal 2.5-bar sensor (about 21 psig), up to about 29 psig. This sensor assembly employs a surface mount device mounted on a custom printed circuit board, and mounts in the same location as the 'stock' 2.5 bar sensor. Kits include reducing bulkhead fitting and 6" of high-grade Tygon hose. External hose barb is for 1/8" ID hose. Step washer is included to ensure proper fit in cases with a 3/8" MAP sensor access hole.

Installation notes:

• The sensor board requires at least 0.5" of space below the mainboard, and will not fit below the board on MegaSquirts that use the board mounting location shown on msefi.com (in a Heeger case, second board slot from top), or on other pre-built MS units out there that come in a Heeger case, as the board is mounted slightly lower than in other cases.
• Upgraded MAP sensors are only compatible with MS-II and MS-I with MegaSquirt 'n Spark firmware.
