Now available from RS Autosport is our new Super420A MS2 Upgrade Kit. This kit allows you to get the higher performance and great features of the MegaSquirt II processor and the MS2 Extra firmware, while still being able to make use of the powerful assortment of auxiliary inputs and outputs of your Super420A ECU!

By simply plugging an MS2 daughterboard into a Super420A, most of the auxiliary input and output features would be lost due to the different pin designations between the two processors. The adapter board in our upgrade kit re-routes those pins into the proper order. Additionally, it provides a terminal block for connection of your IAC. This means you won’t have to sacrifice boost control, fan control, etc. in order to bring wires out to your IAC!

Kit includes:

• MS2 daughterboard pre-soldered to our specially-designed adapter board
• Convenient terminal block for connection of IAC, CAN and 12V supply wires
• 10-foot IAC harness, color-coded to the stock wiring
• 6-inch wire for internal 12V connection (not shown in photo)
• New end plate with IAC wire hole and rubber grommet
• Documentation and software CD

• Able to control your stock 4-wire stepper-type idle air control (IAC) motor (Note: Software settings for IAC not yet refined or tested)
• Can be easily calibrated to any intake air or coolant temp sensor with in MegaTune
• Up to 16x16 fuel maps
• 0.67 microsecond fuel injector pulse resolution, vs. 100 microseconds on MS1 Extra and 1 microsecond on MS1 Extra HiRes (note: MS1E HiRes cannot do PWM current limiting)
• 10-bit analog/digital converters, for 4x more precise measurement of all sensors, including MAP sensor. A smoother MAP sensor reading gives you a much better idle.
• RPM resolution to 1 RPM, vs. 100 RPM on MS1
• Improved acceleration enrichment control that hardly needs tuning
• 0.1 degree ignition timing resolution (3x more precise than MS1)
